RETURN SPEED can be equipped with 2 different types of magazines:
SINGLE COLUMN MAGAZINE, has a surface that tilts from 0° to 25°, manually adjustable, width 1600 mm, with an unloading depth of 800 mm where the pieces are unloaded in a single row. This type of magazine can unload lengths from a minimum of 150mm to a maximum of 1500mm with diameters ranging from 10mm to maximum counter-spindle diameter. Proximity sensors control piece unloading and when the magazine is full, a fence protects the unloading area so that the operator cannot access areas with moving parts. The magazine is covered with a plastic polypropylene material to avoid damaging the unloaded piece. MULTI-COLUMN MAGAZINE, has a manually adjustable table that tilts from 0° to 25°, 1600 mm wide with a piece unloading depth of 800 mm where the pieces are placed on multiple rows to cover the total length of 1600mm. This type of magazine can have a maximum of five columns and allows pieces from a min 150mm to a max 1500mm to be unloaded:
- with 1 column it can work from 150mm to 1500mm
- with 2 columns it can work from 150mm to 720mm
- with 3 columns it can work from 150mm to 450mm
- with 4 columns it can work from 150mm to 375mm
- with 5 columns it can work from 150mm to 275mm
This type of magazine can unload diameters ranging from 10mm to maximum lathe counter-spindle diameter. Proximity sensors control piece unloading and when the magazine is full, a fence protects the unloading area so that the operator cannot access areas with moving parts. The magazine is covered with a plastic polypropylene material to avoid damaging the unloaded piece.
PIECE UNLOADING
RETURN SPEED unloads the piece by means of a pneumatic clamp protected in plastic material that blocks the piece to be unloaded and the position on the polythene channel at the unloading level where the subsequent rotation of the channel makes the piece roll onto the unloading magazine. This system (top automazioni patent) allows the piece to be unloaded into several magazine positions, increasing the number of pieces that can be unloaded by RETURN SPEED.
PIECE MANAGEMENT
RETURN SPEED has the ability to unload pieces from a min of 150mm up to a maximum of 1500mm and diameters ranging from Ø10 to Ø80. The work piece is unloaded in 23 sec. by an elastic clamp or magnet upon customer request. All the sockets and movements are performed by clamps or manipulators covered with plastic material to protect the piece finish.
QUADRO ELETTRICO / INTERFACCIA
RETURN SPEED includes an electrical system entirely designed and assembled in Top Automazioni with high quality brands such as: Phoenix, Eaton, Esa, Siboni. TOP AUTOMAZIONI includes any interface required by the lathe on its loaders wired to the specifications of the lathe manufacturers such as: 24-pole interface, profibus interface, ethercat interface, modular multipolar interface.
RETURN SPEED
RETURN SPEED is a work piece unloading system that is extremely suitable for those customers who produce long rods or shafts that cannot be unloaded in the lathe clamp.
The system is positioned behind the lathe counter-spindle, which, once finished working, moves to the home position and allows RETURN SPEED to hook the piece by means of a pusher which can be equipped with an elastic clamp or magnet, and then bring it inside the unloader that will place it on the storage magazine.
RETURN SPEED is extremely fast. In fact, it only takes 23 sec. to unload and reposition for the next piece. It is fully adjustable by PLC parameters and does not require long tooling times, just elastic clamp change time.
In order to correctly work, this type of unloader requires reductions inserted inside the lathe counter-spindle and RETURN SPEED is equipped with an axial movement of 800 mm to facilitate this operation.
It is a fast and reliable unloader with a working range from a minimum diameter of 12 mm to a maximum of 80 mm.
RETURN SPEED has an adjustable inclined unloading magazine with storage capacity equal to 800 mm for a length of 1500 mm, it can also be equipped with a multi-column version where the unloaded pieces can be stored on the magazine in several rows, maximum 5, increasing the unloading capacity.
The maximum length of the unloadable segment is given by the length of the counter spindle; the piece cannot rotate inside the RETURN SPEED unloader.
